Since the arrival, Xiaomi has been playing like a king in the budget segment. The effort they put to reduce smartphone cost is actually exceptional. For the mid-range, devices like Redmi Note 4 & Redmi Note 5 Pro has been in the talks everywhere since the launch. Talking about the low-budget phones, it reminds the Redmi A series with the success of Redmi 4A, Redmi 5a was a great successor. Now, a new xiaomi smartphone appeared on geekbench. Seems like it’s a budget device. The device reveals a MTK processor, most obvious it would be a chinese variant.
The snapshot also reveals it to come with 3GB of RAM. However i highly doubt the base model to feature 3GB of RAM. It is probably the higher end variant of the Redmi 5A. Apart from the it, the chinese variant(possibly) features MT6765 processor. Well, it’s an octa-core processor which works on base frequency of 2.00GHz.
Xiaomi Redmi 6A Geekbench Benchmark Scores
There is no surprise Xiaomi to go with the MIUI. The device will come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, with on the top Xiaomi’s home grown skinned MIUI 9.
The device as seen captured 745 points in the single-core test and 3562 in the multi-core test.
The Redmi 6A gathered good geekbench benchmarks stats with the MTK processor. Most obviously, Xiaomi to feature cheap shit Snapdragon for the indian variant which may lacks in the benchmarks but would be much powerful as real. This is what so far we’re confirmed with the Redmi 6A labelled Xiaomi Cereus.
Xiaomi seems to be in hurry launching a new device every 2-3 months. But who cares since the strategy actually working for them. Looking at the on-paper specs, xiaomi redmi 6a seems to be a tough contenter for the upcoming moto g6 play which runs on Qualcomm snapdragon 450. Lets see, which processor xiaomi would be featuring in the indian variant.
